Etienne Dalton's Story:

I have lost all contact with buddies who faught in the 88 Hooper and Packer but the rememberance of a group of "elite"  soldiers as seen through my eyes, is still as fresh as the days we were in combat. Being in Australia now a regular reminder of what we faught for comes to light. To be able to take on so many Terro's with some brand new weapons "G5" and also very old weapons "G2 Howitzer" we used at the time has to be proof of an able elite force which includes the whole Brigade of Infantry , Intelligance , Artillery , Koevoet , Recce etc. To all who were there and got the T-Sirt I would like to say  " we did them proud" To those Soldiers we lost in the war . You will always be remembered as part of THE ELITE FORCE of the world. After 26 years i believe we would still have it in us to do a second round and make a major success of it too. If anyone has info and contacts of RSA Military veterans association in Australia please let me know on the email submitted.
