Coenraad Bekker's Story:

After 34 years i still think of the buddies that died in Angola and what there parents must have gone through.The not knowing and how did it happen and the Father of Trp Neils Lombaard  1SSB who till the day he died believing that his son was a prisoner of war because we did not bring his body out of Angola and all he had to do or the SADF should had done was let Lombaards father talke to his crew that were with him the day he died I do not believe that this was not done. I have 3 sons to day 30,24 and 17 Years of age and if they had to go to the defence force and they did not bring there bodys back i would make it my duty to find out why So to the lombaard family i am sorry that you had to live with the unknowen all these years and I can and you can be proud of your son and today i can play chess because of your son he showed me how to play
