Clint's Story:

I suppose I was one of the lucky ones, who got into the Navy, (ended up at Marine Base in Simonstown)  the closest I got to the "Border" , was a 2 month stint in Walvis Bay.To all the guys who went to the border, you have my respect, and admiration.
